The oil injector is one of the main components of a centrifugal oil pump supply system. It primarily consists of a nozzle, a mixing chamber, and a diffuser. Pressure from the main oil pump accelerates the oil in the nozzle, creating a negative pressure in the mixing chamber. Due to this negative pressure and the entrainment effect of the free jet, oil from the tank is continuously drawn into the mixing chamber and then into the diffuser. The mixed oil flow is then decelerated and pressurized in the diffuser before being delivered to the main oil pump or used for bearing lubrication.
